The art of genetic manipulation

"Ever play one of these?" asks the caption under the image of a cartoon bee. In this 1984 ad for its sampling keyboard, it is ambiguous whether Kurzweil envisions creativity as a form of interpretive exaggeration, genetic manipulation or theatrical costuming.
